TL;DR

Strategic Pricing Leader (Value-Based Pricing): Lead deployment of Value-Based Pricing within Business Lines, equipping commercial teams with data-driven decision frameworks, governance, and capability building programs. Focus on translating principles into actionable models, conducting pricing research including WTP and sensitivity analysis, and driving sustainable value capture through portfolio architecture and transformation.

On-Site in Clermont-Ferrand, France. Global mobility and willingness to operate across regions required.

Salary: 90 to 110k€ + bonus, depending on profile and experience

What you will do

  • Translate Value-Based Pricing principles into actionable models, decision rules, and value drivers for differentiated positioning
  • Conduct pricing research (WTP, price sensitivity, competitive benchmarking) and support price corridor design for margin optimization
  • Develop product line pricing ramps and contribute to global price corridor framework
  • Support Business Lines in pricing transformation plans, maturity improvements, training, and knowledge sharing
  • Act as trusted advisor to Business Line Directors, Regional Pricing teams, and Sales enablement through influence and fact-based recommendations

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in economics, marketing, engineering, finance or related
  • 5+ years in strategic pricing in international industrial B2B/B2B2C environment
  • 2+ years in Sales, Marketing, or Product Management
  • Experience with pricing software (e.g., Pricfx, Vendavo, PROS, Vistex)
  • Proven ability to drive transformation in matrix organizations
  • Fluent English; excellent communication for commercial and leadership stakeholders
  • Global mobility across regions and cultures
