What you will do

• Integrate software security tooling (SAST, SCA, secrets scanning) into the SDLC across design, development, and deployment phases.
• Lead workshops for engineering teams to raise awareness of security tooling, processes, and common application vulnerabilities.
• Drive automation within the DevSecOps team to improve security observability, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with wider security functions, including Threat Intelligence and Threat Modelling, to promote secure software practices.
• Perform code reviews and vulnerability analysis tailored to the company's technology landscape.
• Develop and maintain security standards, patterns, and guardrails for engineering teams.

Requirements

• Foundational understanding of software development concepts and the SDLC.
• Basic knowledge of application security principles and OWASP Top 10.
• Production or enterprise experience with at least one language: Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Awareness of SAST, SCA, and secrets scanning tooling.
• Basic understanding of APIs, cloud-native services, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.
