What you will do

• Design and develop secure features across a TypeScript/Node.js backend and React frontend.
• Build AI-powered features and agentic workflows using Claude and Gemini for claims automation and OPS tooling.
• Contribute to API-first infrastructure to enable partner insurance integrations.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, DocumentDB, Kafka, and AWS to maintain reliable systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, Finance, and Operations to turn business requirements into maintainable solutions.
• Ensure technical compliance with BaFin, DORA, and EU regulations regarding security and data integrity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong command of TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js; familiarity with React.
• Hands-on experience building production systems with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google).
• Experience with AI-native patterns: RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and agentic orchestration.
• Proficiency with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, insurtech, payments, or banking integrations.
• German language skills.
