Multilingual Medical Information Specialist (Medical Information): Responding to unsolicited medical and safety inquiries from consumers and healthcare professionals via phone, email, and other channels with an accent on providing labeled/unlabeled information, translating responses, and documenting adverse events. Location: Australia (supports remote working, hybrid encouraged for those near offices)

What you will do

  • Respond to customer requests for medical/safety information via telephone, email, fax, and meetings using approved sources.
  • Identify, document, and report adverse events, pregnancies, special situations, and product complaints per regulations and SOPs.
  • Translate English documents to/from target language and deliver responses verbally or in writing.
  • Formulate accurate responses using labeling, literature, and data; assist with custom responses.
  • Log all inquiries accurately into handling systems and perform quality checks on events, complaints, and translations.
  • Provide after-hours coverage on rotation and adhere to privacy, health, and safety policies.

Requirements

  • Life science, Nursing (RN/BS/BA/MS), or Pharmacy degree (Pharmacy for JP only).
  • Mother tongue in target language; fluent in English (TOEIC 800+ for Japan-based roles).
  • Strong translation skills, medical terminology knowledge, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, proofreading, telephone etiquette, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, think critically, and work independently or in a team under time constraints.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems; aptitude for inquiry databases.
