What you will do

• Design, build, and own standalone, reusable Python packages that surface novel data science solutions.
• Build processes and tools to support the research of global science methods, including visual dashboards.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into robust, production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor junior team members to raise engineering capability and impact.

Requirements

• Experience designing and delivering production-grade analytical Python solutions.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL-like operations.
• Understanding of machine learning techniques such as regularised regression, clustering or tree-based ensembles (and experience applying them with packages like Pandas, sci-kit-learn, SciPy) is highly beneficial.
• Experience processing big data, ideally in a Hadoop/Spark environment, would be beneficial.
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps practices, with the ability to improve deployment reliability, testing standards, and release processes.
