Staff / Senior Applied AI Engineer (AI): Designing and scaling AI solutions to improve talent attraction, development, and retention within the People & Culture domain with an accent on agent architecture and prompt design. Focus on building reliable LLM applications, implementing responsible AI guardrails, and driving the end-to-end AI engineering lifecycle.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (2 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Design, build, and scale AI solutions to enhance how the organization attracts, develops, and retains talent.
• Own the full AI engineering lifecycle, including prompt design, agent architecture, business context grounding, and output validation.
• Collaborate with engineers on system design, integration, and technical decision-making, including code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Implement responsible AI practices, focusing on data governance, bias awareness, and guardrails for sensitive P&C data.
• Train and upskill data analysts and business users on AI tools, patterns, and practices.
• Drive projects from ambiguity to completion, managing technical milestones and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and building production-ready AI/ML solutions, including LLM applications and agent frameworks.
• Ability to operate in technical environments, review code, and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Strong ownership mindset with a track record of driving projects independently.
• Experience with responsible AI practices, including output validation and grounding.
• Effective communication skills to translate technical concepts for HR leadership and analysts.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Berlin, Germany to support the hybrid work model.
