What you will do

• Architect process and controls for industrial machines.
• Program robotic paths and motion systems for automation.
• Develop real-time code using IEC 61131-3 Structured Text and non-real-time code using Python.
• Analyze customer needs and translate them into technical system requirements.
• Read and contribute to electrical schematics that document system architecture.
• Travel 25% to 30% to support deployment and integration.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional experience in industrial automation.
• Proficiency in Beckhoff PLC programming and Structured Text (61131-3).
• Strong Python programming skills and knowledge of object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience with SQL RDB, Git version control, and robot programming.
• Familiarity with Linux and command line tools.

Nice to have

• Exposure to web technologies such as JavaScript, React, REST, or GraphQL.
• Experience with Fanuc industrial robots.
• Knowledge of vision systems (e.g., Keyence, Cognex) or SCADA systems.
