TL;DR

Frontend Software Developer (SaaS/Legal AI): Building reusable front-end components and design systems to ensure a consistent and scalable user experience across legal products with an accent on accessibility and scalability. Focus on shaping the company-wide component library using Web Components, Tailwind, and HTML/CSS to transform the legal experience.

Location: Must be based in Burnaby or Calgary, Canada. Hybrid work: minimum 2 days per week in office on Anchor Days.

Salary: $110,200 – $149,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Develop reusable front-end components for a scalable and accessible user experience across all products.
  • Shape the company-wide component library using HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and Web Components.
  • Solve complex technical problems and provide elegant solutions for legal customers.
  • Collaborate with full-stack developers in an agile environment across multiple countries.
  • Perform peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.

Requirements

  • Experience building large-scale web applications and working with Ruby on Rails.
  • Proven success in software development mentorship within an Agile process.
  • Experience working with large-scale SaaS products and systems.
  • Must be local to Burnaby or Calgary hubs (Canada).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Keen interest in utilizing AI to improve software development craft.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Design Systems.
  • Experience with Web Components.
