What you will do
- Maintain employee records in HRIS systems for Canadian and US employees.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, state employment laws and best practices in Canada and the US.
- Process payroll, manage benefits enrollments, and liaise with providers.
- Track work authorizations and visas, assist with audits and reporting.
- Promote employee engagement, internal communications, and inclusive culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience, including employee relations.
- Payroll and tax knowledge, plus compliance, leave, and benefits management.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Canada and ideally the US.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle fast-paced environment with integrity and confidentiality.

- Strong knowledge of both Canadian and US HR practices.
