What you will do

• Handle patient intake by answering phones and chats, providing warm transfers to appropriate departments.
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments in accordance with clinic guidelines.
• Verify insurance information and patient eligibility using tools such as Availity and portals.
• Manage data entry and administrative tasks using eClinicalWorks (eCW) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Process referrals, eFaxes, and Notices of Eligibility while strictly upholding HIPAA privacy standards.
• Participate in performance reviews and call audits to improve patient satisfaction scores.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (both verbal and written).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare or a related customer service role.
• Medical scheduling experience is necessary.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and insurance verification processes.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.
• Must have a computer with two monitors and a static IP address for system access.

Nice to have

• Prior experience using the eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR system.
• Familiarity with Softphone Software such as 3CX.
