Senior Android Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Architect and implement native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose following performance and accessibility best practices.
• Deliver features using modern Android patterns, CLEAN architecture, Coroutines, and dependency injection with Hilt.
• Develop using AI-assisted workflows (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate coding, refactoring, and test generation.
• Own the testing strategy including unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) and UI tests (Espresso).
• Shape mobile CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane and CircleCI for automated builds and Google Play Store deployment.
• Monitor application health and performance using Firebase and New Relic.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3–5+ years specifically building production Android apps.
• Strong proficiency in Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and modern architecture patterns.
• Production experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Strong discipline in testing (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito) and code review excellence.
• Experience with Google Play Store submission and release management.
• Must be based in one of the specified US office locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fastlane, feature flags, and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Amazon Q or Claude Code.
• Awareness of PCI and SOX compliance.
• Previous experience in Banking and Financial Services.
