What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of the firm's security practice, setting standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Develop security architecture across network perimeter, Azure cloud platforms, and identity and access management.
• Select and implement scalable, best-in-class security tooling aligned with growth and risk profiles.
• Define and influence the overall IT security strategy, balancing security, performance, and efficiency.
• Act as the primary technical authority and senior escalation point for complex security incidents and design decisions.
• Partner with Infrastructure and DevOps teams to embed security into platforms and automation processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Senior or Lead Security Engineering role.
• Background in financial services, trading, or other high-availability, mission-critical environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of network security (firewalls, segmentation, VPNs).
• Deep expertise in cloud security, specifically within Microsoft Azure.
• Experience leading security tooling selection and roadmap decisions.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in London.
