Location: Hybrid – Sunderland, UK (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

What you will do

• Design, write, and execute test plans and cases for APIs and applications within the game engine.
• Create and maintain manual and automated API tests using Postman and JavaScript-based scripting.
• Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure confident and reliable releases.
• Conduct performance and load testing to identify regressions and system bottlenecks.
• Ensure testing evidence aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements for audit readiness.
• Mentor team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices and tools.

Requirements

• Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman, including JavaScript-based test scripting.
• Strong understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, JSON schemas, and API authentication.
• Experience working in environments where quality and regulatory compliance are critical.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working within Agile teams.
• Must be able to work hybridly from the Sunderland, UK office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Newman and CI integration.
• Familiarity with backend technologies for debugging purposes.
• Exposure to specific performance or load testing tools.
• Experience testing real-time systems or engine-based platforms.
