TL;DR

Location: Must be located in Portugal (Hybrid: Coimbra, Aveiro, and Porto)

What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA Engineers supporting the HPBX Telephony system.
  • Define and own the QA strategy, best practices, and standards for the platform.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies using a shift-left approach.
  • Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting for releases and hotfixes.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and DevOps to align quality goals with business priorities.
  • Represent Quality Assurance in planning, design, and architecture discussions.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Portugal.
  • Proven experience in a QA leadership or senior QA role.
  • Strong background in testing complex systems, specifically Telephony, VoIP, or communications platforms.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD environments.
  • Experience testing APIs, backend services, and distributed systems.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with SIP and VoIP architectures.
  • Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestLink, or X-ray.
