What you will do

• Design and develop new software features within a microservice architecture, delivering reliable production-grade code.
• Maintain and resolve production issues to ensure system stability and uptime.
• Refactor legacy code to improve performance, maintainability, and long-term stability.
• Develop and integrate payment methods including PayPal, Klarna, credit card processing, and bank transfers.
• Implement secure data handling practices and robust encryption standards for sensitive financial data.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Perl or Java.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Mindset for Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Fluency in English.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Spain.
