What you will do

• Own large-scale customer-facing features from conception to delivery for FireTV partner products.
• Design, develop, implement, test, and document distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
• Architect robust, efficient, and supportable solutions that integrate seamlessly within the system architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Evaluate and make strategic decisions around adopting new or existing software products and tools.
• Collaborate with business partners, software development engineers, testers, and UI/UX designers.
• Influence overall strategy by defining product features, driving system architecture, and establishing best practices.

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development.
• Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
