TL;DR

KYC Supervisor (Fintech): Conducting thorough KYC/KYB reviews, resolving complex cases, and ensuring compliance with an accent on regulatory adherence and edge case handling. Focus on coaching team members, managing workflows, and driving operational improvements to meet SLAs and performance targets.

Location: Hybrid remote policy (work from home 2 days per week)

Fintech platform onboarding small and medium-sized companies and freelancers for business accounts.

What you will do

  • Conduct KYC/KYB reviews, resolve complex cases, and maintain compliance expertise.
  • Onboard and train new team members on procedures, tools, and best practices.
  • Provide coaching through 1:1s, development plans, and small-group training.
  • Manage team schedules, workflows, SLAs, and daily operations.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Risk on process optimization projects.
  • Implement quality controls and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in KYC/AML/Financial Security at fintech, bank, or scale-up; 1+ year as supervisor/mentor.
  • Strong AML/CFT knowledge and protect mindset.
  • Experience managing team performance, KPIs, coaching, and training.
  • Data-driven with analytical skills and process optimization experience.
  • Proficient with compliance tools (e.g., Zendesk, Forest, Next Matter).
  • Excellent English + fluent in German, Dutch, French, Spanish, or Italian.
