Senior QA Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Maintain and improve automated test suites using RSpec, Jest, Playwright, and Cypress; set up suites for new products from scratch.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities; track bugs and quality metrics.
• Review colleagues' work via PRs (white box) and manual/exploratory testing (black box).
• Collaborate with stakeholders on planning, contribute to acceptance criteria and definition of done.
• Review requirements and designs to identify corner cases; stay updated on testing tools.
• Mentor team members, participate in meetings, pair programming, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Daily experience with RSpec, Jest, Cypress; familiarity with Playwright, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL.
• Hands-on with white box and black box testing, end-to-end tests in monolithic/distributed systems.
• Experience with Git, Jira, CI tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Docker; Kubernetes and GCP a plus.
• Outstanding written/verbal communication; team player with autonomy and critical thinking.

Nice to have

• Development experience in Ruby on Rails, React, Node.js.
• Testing Slack bots and Jira add-ons.
• Product Management experience or understanding user needs.
