What you will do

• Design end-to-end agentic architectures, including tool-use schemas, intent parsing, and multi-step orchestration.
• Define the multi-modal interface strategy across UI, API, SDK, and agentic natural language.
• Architect the horizontal LLM platform layer, including shared RAG pipelines, prompt libraries, and vector search infrastructure.
• Rapidly prototype AI product hypotheses to validate direction before full engineering investment.
• Create observability standards, documentation, and runbooks to enable product squads to take ownership of AI systems.
• Collaborate with product leadership to shape AI capability priorities and trade-offs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years designing and deploying LLM systems in production.
• Proven track record with agentic systems: function calling, multi-step reasoning, and error recovery at scale.
• Production-grade Python engineering skills.
• Hands-on experience with major LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and open-source model stacks.
• Experience building RAG pipelines with vector databases and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Must be based in California, Canada, or the USA.

Nice to have

• Background in gaming, payments, or e-commerce.
• Experience with fine-tuning (PEFT/LoRA) for domain adaptation.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks like AutoGen or CrewAI.
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, DeepEval).
• Knowledge of EU AI Act, GDPR, or other AI compliance frameworks.
