Sr Director, Commercial Strategy & Innovation (Energy Storage): Designing, incubating, and scaling high-impact commercial initiatives and new offerings to accelerate hirify.global's evolution with an accent on go-to-market strategies, partnership models, and electricity market analysis. Focus on developing investment cases, structuring strategic partnerships, and translating complex commercial ideas into scalable global programs.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office), Amsterdam, Netherlands

What you will do

  • Lead the design, incubation, and scaling of new commercial offerings and go-to-market strategies across priority markets.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging revenue models, such as risk-sharing and deferred capex structures.
  • Structure and advance strategic partnerships with financial institutions, insurers, and asset owners.
  • Develop end-to-end investment cases, including complex financial modeling and electricity market analysis.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into scalable programs in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Manage global cross-functional initiatives and establish KPIs to ensure accountability and measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, sales, investment analysis, or electricity market analysis.
  • Proven track record as a senior strategic leader or internal consultant across various commercial topics.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, specifically within electricity markets or project investments.
  • Direct experience in renewables, energy storage, or clean energy markets.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Must be based in or be able to work hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Amsterdam, Netherlands
