What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage a global fleet of approximately 350 Ubuntu servers across 20+ infrastructure providers.
• Implement extensive automation, orchestration, and state enforcement using SaltStack.
• Configure and troubleshoot complex IPv4 and IPv6 networking, including policy routing and DNS.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, monitoring systems, and observability platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines.
• Serve as the senior SME for root cause analysis and resolution of complex full-stack infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Linux systems engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals, including systemd, networking stack, and performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency in SaltStack and scripting abilities in Bash and Perl (Python preferred).
• Advanced practical networking knowledge (TCP/IP, IPv6 subnet routing, firewalls).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Experience managing globally distributed infrastructure in performance-sensitive environments.

• Experience with Squid or other proxy technologies.
