Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain application codebases with high accountability and ownership.
• Integrate tenant teams with the Event Bus and build reusable patterns and tooling.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues, using incidents to inform system improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in the technical interview process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to present design documents and system diagrams.
• Drive improvements in software engineering processes and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of engineering experience (or equivalent experience).
• Expert-level knowledge in backend, infrastructure, platform, or developer tooling.
• Ability to contribute in multiple languages: Java, Ruby, Node, Python, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, modern CD systems (Argo CD or equivalent), and GitHub Actions.
• US-based work authorization and residency.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Kafka or other distributed event platforms.
• Experience contributing to internal developer platforms or "paved roads".
• Experience working in large, bureaucratically complex organizations (government, healthcare, finance).
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, or ATO.
