What you will do

• Drive the technical roadmap for a phased migration from VB.NET Web Forms to ASP.NET Core using the strangler fig pattern.
• Architect and implement core system components, including data access and service layers.
• Lead sprint ceremonies, manage team capacity, and remove blockers to ensure consistent delivery.
• Oversee releases across legacy IIS and modern containerized platforms using AWS, Docker, and EKS.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
• Enforce secure SDLC practices using tools like SAST, DAST, and SNYK to comply with OWASP Top 10.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with SQL Server, AWS ecosystem, Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Proven experience leading agile teams and mentoring engineers.
• Deep understanding of secure development practices and SDLC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Razor Pages, HTMX, Tailwind, MediatR, and CQRS patterns.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, CJIS, or GovCloud environments.
• Scrum Master certification.
• Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code.
