Salary: $153,000 - $230,000

What you will do

• Build backend services and secure data pipelines for storing, processing, and routing customer data.
• Develop systems for token issuance, user authentication, and anonymization to support privacy requirements.
• Define the authentication vision for next-generation AI platforms, intelligent agents, and MCP ecosystems.
• Implement data retention and deletion workflows compliant with regulatory standards such as CCPA and GDPR.
• Partner with access management engineers to enforce least-privilege access controls across systems.
• Contribute to monitoring and auditing systems to track data access and usage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend systems, data infrastructure, or security.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience building and operating services in cloud environments like AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with distributed systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake).
• Strong understanding of encryption, secure data handling, and privacy-focused system design.
• Must be located in or able to work from the Bellevue, WA office.
