What you will do
- Provide embedded software development support for current and new naval audio products.
- Handle the full software lifecycle: requirements definition, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
- Maintain and update legacy codebases to ensure continued operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Program Management and customer representatives to align technical deliverables.
- Perform hardware/software troubleshooting using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Travel occasionally to offsite government and non-government test facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software development using C/C++.
- Experience with Embedded Linux.
- Proficiency with basic test equipment (Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, etc.).
- U.S. nationality and ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
Nice to have
- Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) concepts, such as A/D, D/A, and filters.
- RTOS experience.
- IP networking experience.
