Salary: $180,000 — $247,500 USD

What you will do

• Partner with the sales team to help customers solve business problems using the hirify.global platform.
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt hirify.global solutions.
• Consult on big data architecture and execute proof of concepts for strategic customer projects.
• Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demonstrate applications for customers.
• Promote open-source projects (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog) through developer communities, meetups, and conferences.
• Travel to meet with customers within the assigned territory.

Requirements

• 7+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role, preferably with big-data technologies.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in programming and debugging in at least one of: Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.
• Experience building solutions with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Data Engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS) technologies.
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
