DeFi Algorithmic Trading Intern (Web3): Researching on-chain protocols and running data-driven experiments to advance the understanding of decentralized finance with an accent on protocol microstructure and design mechanisms. Focus on implementing trading strategies and exploring the ecosystem’s design space across multiple codebases.

Location: Singapore (On-site/Hybrid). Fully remote candidates are not accepted.

What you will do

• Research on-chain protocols and conduct data-driven experiments.
• Develop and refine understanding of decentralized finance mechanisms.
• Work across multiple codebases and programming languages.
• Collaborate with experienced traders and developers to explore the DeFi ecosystem's design space.

Requirements

• Must be a student graduating in 2027.
• Proficiency in programming with Rust or Python.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and with Git version control.
• Strong quantitative skills and experience with programmatic statistical analysis.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, DeFi protocols, and high-frequency market making strategies.
