What you will do
- Adapt and optimize design tools through configuration or by creating and modifying macros based on user needs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex issues for project team users.
- Define and improve design methodologies and best practices.
- Organize and deliver training sessions and workshops on design software for users.
- Monitor, evaluate, and validate new production software versions in collaboration with Business Analysts and suppliers.
- Recommend hardware for designers and conduct technology watch to identify relevant software and hardware solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with design concepts, electrical design, and design analysis.
- Proficiency in design software and Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and VBA.
- Experience in technical support and troubleshooting for design tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a technical field related to design, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent English and French or Dutch.
- Must be based in Brussels.
