Salary: £84,000–£102,700 per annum

What you will do

• Act as the senior technical SME for applications across the Crown Dependencies Lab.
• Analyse complex business problems and design fit-for-purpose technical solutions across applications and tooling.
• Lead technical analysis, impact assessments, and root cause investigations for incidents and change.
• Champion the use of enterprise tooling, low-code platforms, and automation to improve outcomes.
• Evaluate and lead proofs of concept for new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor and coach colleagues to build technical capability and maturity within the Lab.

Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in Temenos Transact, .NET, iOS/Android apps, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and RPA tooling.
• Deep understanding of system architecture, integrations, data flows, and dependencies as an Application SME.
• Experience designing event-driven data solutions, including configuring Kafka topics.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear technical designs and specifications.
• Must hold specific right to work permissions for Jersey and/or Isle of Man.

Nice to have

• Experience modernising or replacing legacy technologies with enterprise solutions.
• Exposure to Java or Python for event streaming or API-led integration.
• Familiarity with data visualisation, dashboards, or AI-enabled tooling.
