TL;DR

Senior Risk Management Engineer (GRC): Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating financial, operational, and reputational risks to ensure regulatory compliance and informed decision-making with an accent on risk quantification and mapping risks to security and compliance controls. Focus on building board-level reporting structures and embedding risk management into the engineering lifecycle.

Location: Remote (United States). Must cover US Eastern-time (ET) oriented working hours.

Salary: $143,000 - $173,000

What you will do

  • Identify and articulate material financial, operational, and reputational risks.
  • Quantify risk exposure and maintain defensible documentation for informed decision-making.
  • Map risks to security and compliance controls and evaluate overall security maturity.
  • Embed risk management processes directly into the engineering lifecycle.
  • Partner with Security, Platform Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Audit teams.
  • Own and maintain the enterprise risk framework and build board-level reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in risk management, compliance, or analytical roles.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Ability to cover US Eastern-time (ET) working hours.
  • Fundamental knowledge of software development concepts.

Nice to have

  • Professional certification, such as a Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP).
