What you will do

• Create realistic animal animations including locomotion, behavior, and reactions.
• Set up state machines, blend spaces, and work with Animation Blueprints in Unreal Engine.
• Integrate animations into gameplay in close collaboration with programmers.
• Implement IK, root motion, and physically accurate movement.
• Optimize animations for real-time performance while maintaining high visual quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in 3D animation for games, real-time projects, or simulators.
• Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine (UE4 / UE5).
• Excellent understanding of animal anatomy and movement.
• Experience with Maya, Blender, or MotionBuilder.
• Understanding of Animation Blueprints, IK, and retargeting.
• English: Working proficiency (Upper-Intermediate/B2 or higher)

Nice to have

• Experience with motion capture, specifically for animals.
• Knowledge of Control Rig in Unreal Engine.
• Experience with plugins and custom solutions in UE5.
• Background working on simulators or highly realistic projects.
