What you will do

• Build distributed on-premise storage from scratch, including planning hardware resources and network requirements.
• Deploy and configure LINSTOR controllers, satellites, DRBD resources, and storage pools.
• Maintain and monitor servers and storage devices to ensure system stability and performance.
• Develop scripts to automate storage-related tasks and routine maintenance.
• Plan infrastructure growth and implement robust backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for storage systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Linux/Unix administration with a deep understanding of system internals.
• Expertise in designing, deploying, and tuning high-load corporate storage systems.
• Experience with distributed storage systems (SDS) such as Ceph, Gluster, Linstor, DRBD, or Nutanix.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware (NVMe, SAS, HBA, RAID controllers) and multipathing.
• Proficiency with CoW filesystems (ZFS, Btrfs) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Must be based in Ukraine.
• English: Pre-Intermediate (B1) or higher required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with LINSTOR/DRBD replication modes and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Dell EMC Unity or Isilon corporate storage devices.
• Knowledge of data encryption, deduplication, and compression techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud storage solutions like Amazon S3, Azure Blob, or Google Cloud Storage.
