Program Scheduler (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States. The role requires access to ITAR-controlled information, so the successful candidate must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license. Irregular business hours may be required for proposals or critical project timelines.

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own master schedules for satellite programs from concept studies through launch and on-orbit operations.
• Develop and communicate data-driven critical-path schedules, progress updates, and summary reports.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, production, software, ground infrastructure, and launch activities.
• Identify dependencies across internal and external stakeholders and keep milestones aligned with actual program progress.
• Build scheduling tools and reports to support timely decisions and proactively monitor engineering data sources.
• Lead schedule reviews and drive updates, risk visibility, and process improvements across multiple programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, operations management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in project planning and integrated master scheduling.
• Experience integrating schedules within the same tool and combining schedules from third parties and different data sources.
• Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling applications and processes.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.
• Ability to work irregular business hours when required by proposals or critical project timelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with cross-functional engineering and operations teams and the engineering development life cycle.
• Experience with first-of-engineering projects, scaled production, and concurrent projects.
• Knowledge of critical-path analysis, schedule risk analysis, health metrics, and work breakdown structures.
• Experience with Microsoft Timeline or equivalent summary schedule reporting tools.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity.
