Data Scientist II (Healthcare Analytics): Develop data assets and perform advanced statistical analyses including regression models and data mining for client insights with an accent on reporting, visualization, and scalable analytic solutions. Focus on prototyping novel data sets, integrating PG and external data, and delivering business implications through dashboards and reports.
Location: Remote USA with hybrid mode (office 3 days/week in Chicago IL, Boston MA, or South Bend IN if near hubs)
Salary: $70,000–$92,000 + bonus

What you will do
- Execute analytic deliverables including basic data analysis, advanced statistical modeling, reporting, and visualization using tools like Excel, Tableau, R, Python, PowerBI.
- Write programs in SQL, R, SAS to develop data sets supporting deliverables.
- Produce written reports summarizing methods, interpretations, and business implications.
- Provide ad-hoc analytic support to internal clients like sales, product management, and consulting.
- Prototype scalable novel analytic solutions and data sets integrating PG or external data.
- Ensure accuracy, quality of deliverables, and foster collaborative relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or quantitative discipline
- 1-3 years in data-analytic role with real-world data and statistical analysis experience
- Intermediate-advanced SQL, SAS, R, STATA or similar; basic-intermediate Python or other languages
- Formal training or experience in advanced stats like regression, data mining
- Proficiency in data visualization and merging relational tables in SQL Server, Hadoop etc.
- 1-3 years project management with cross-functional collaboration
