Senior Mechanical Engineer (Boilers)

What you will do

• Manage the Boiler & Refractory sub-project for energy-from-waste projects.
• Prepare technical specifications for components and systems.
• Select suitable suppliers and ensure timely ordering.
• Support suppliers with documentation and inspections.
• Coordinate interfaces and disciplines across the overall project while cooperating with plant planners and designers.
• Travel internationally for up to 20% of the working time.

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering background focused on process or power plant technology.
• 5+ years of experience in plant construction, with a focus on boilers or furnaces.
• Experience with production processes, boiler-part standards, boiler design, thermodynamics, and water circulation calculations.
• Project management experience in plant construction.
• Fluent English is required.
