TL;DR

Member Support Representative (Full-Time): Providing live inbound phone support to members, assisting with eligibility verification, appointment scheduling, platform troubleshooting, and food benefits access with an accent on empathetic communication and handling sensitive PHI/PII. Focus on multitasking across tools, documenting interactions accurately, and collaborating to resolve complex issues under HIPAA compliance.

Location: Remote (US). Preference for availability 11:30am-8:00 PM PST.

Compensation: $43,000 annually ($20.68 per hour) + $8,000 bonus + benefits

What you will do

  • Empathetically handle live inbound member calls, documenting interactions and ensuring accurate records.
  • Verify eligibility, coverage, and benefits using internal tools while communicating clearly during calls.
  • Explain telenutrition, match members with dietitians, and schedule fitting appointments.
  • Troubleshoot platform, account, and basic tech issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on food delivery and grocery ordering questions.
  • Maintain accountability for sensitive information and collaborate on complex problem resolutions.

Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet (100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload minimum).
  • Private, secure, quiet workspace.
  • Experience in support roles (in-person or calls).
  • Strong oral/written communication, adaptable to situations.
  • Multitasking, critical thinking, and navigating multiple systems during live calls.
  • Experience with sensitive data (PII/PHI) and basic HIPAA understanding.
  • Detail-oriented, goal-driven, resilient to changes, comfortable with feedback.
