What you will do

• Build, own, and mature enterprise cybersecurity programs, including operating models, governance, policies, standards, and processes.
• Design and run a comprehensive risk management program covering assessments, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and remediation.
• Lead internal and third-party security assessments, penetration tests, and audits from scoping to closure.
• Develop and operationalize threat modeling and threat intelligence to anticipate emerging risks.
• Partner with engineering, IT, legal, compliance, and business leaders on risk-based mitigation strategies.
• Translate technical risks into actionable insights for executives and embed security into architecture and operations.
• Mentor junior team members and stay current on threats and best practices; occasional travel up to 10%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with ownership of enterprise security programs and risk management
• One or more certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC
• Track record as senior individual contributor taking responsibility for outcomes
• Experience with security governance frameworks, risk assessments, audits, penetration testing, NIST CSF/RMF, threat modeling, and core security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DLP, SIEM)
• Strong analytical thinking, judgment, communication to non-technical audiences, and ability to influence stakeholders
