What you will do

• Lead planning and concept development for 25 kV AC, 15 kV AC, and 750 V DC traction power configurations.
• Develop technical documentation, including load flow studies, short-circuit analyses, and earthing schemes.
• Plan traction power substations (TPS), including transformer sizing and SCADA interfaces.
• Produce drawings, schematics, and layout plans for substation sites and overhead line equipment corridors.
• Manage interfaces with civil, signalling, telecommunications, and rolling stock disciplines to ensure system integration.
• Conduct route surveys, site feasibility assessments, and review contractor submittals during construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in railway electrification planning or design, specifically with traction power substations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and CIVIL 3D.
• Experience with simulation tools such as PSCAD, ETAP, or Spice-based tools.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Must be based in Poland.

• Eligibility for professional engineering registration (PE, CEng, or national equivalent).
