What you will do

• Execute ELISA-based bioanalytical and safety studies, including sample preparation, assay execution, and data analysis.
• Ensure full compliance with protocols, SOPs, and GCP/GCLP requirements for all laboratory activities.
• Support method development, verification, and validation to deliver fully validated assays.
• Maintain laboratory readiness by managing ELISA equipment, consumables, and reagents to quality standards.
• Mentor and train junior scientists in ELISA methodologies and good laboratory practice.
• Collaborate with Principal Scientists and stakeholders to ensure studies meet agreed timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• BSc in Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Science, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience performing ELISA assays, including plate preparation and data analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of immunoassay principles, including calibration curves and sensitivity.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot ELISA assays and resolve technical issues.
• Experience recording and verifying laboratory data in a contemporaneous and GxP-compliant manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) for data interpretation and reporting.

Nice to have

• Degree in Analytical Science or a related discipline.
• Experience working in a CRO environment supporting clinical trials.
• Expertise in ELISA method optimization, transfer, and validation.
• Familiarity with LIMS and electronic data capture systems.
