What you will do

• Partner with engineering teams to design secure, scalable AWS architectures and services.
• Design and implement secure solutions for real-world deployment scenarios across various cloud environments.
• Lead threat modeling exercises for applications and infrastructure to identify and mitigate risks.
• Build and operate cloud-native security infrastructure, including automated detection and response capabilities.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or AWS CDK to enforce secure configurations at scale.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and mentor engineers on secure design principles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or security engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and deep experience with AWS services (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar).
• Proven experience in threat modeling and application security.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and securing CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in Madrid and legally authorized to work in Spain or the EU without visa sponsorship.
