Senior Security Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Execute technical security projects, including backup configurations for disaster recovery.
• Implement IAM projects to centralize system authentication and guarantee RBAC usage.
• Manage the vulnerability lifecycle by discovering, reviewing, and prioritizing gaps.
• Design and implement security controls for GCP and AWS footprints in the South America region.
• Ensure technical compliance with local regulations, including LGPD and BACEN security requirements.
• Promote a DevSecOps culture through security tooling and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering.
• Deep technical expertise in GCP, AWS, or other cloud providers.
• Proficiency in Terraform (IaC), CI/CD technologies, and scripting (Python, Go, or Bash).
• Experience with containers and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Professional fluency in English and Portuguese.
• Authorization to work in Brazil (São Paulo).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of local Brazilian cybersecurity standards (e.g., ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 27001).
• Relevant cloud platform, Linux, or cybersecurity certifications.
• Previous experience as a software engineer, platform/SRE engineer, or similar technology roles.
• Understanding of modern DevSecOps practices.
