What you will do

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished short-form and long-form content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
• Enhance content through motion graphics, cuts, transitions, color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects
• Research and incorporate current social media trends and innovative editing techniques to keep content fresh
• Identify key storylines, viral moments, and compelling highlights from tournament footage and streams
• Analyze video performance metrics to refine editing style, pacing, and storytelling for maximum impact
• Ensure all final video assets align with brand guidelines, visual aesthetics, and consistent tone of voice

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Blender, and Cinema 4D
• Demonstrated understanding of YouTube video optimization and content strategy for major social platforms
• Strong storytelling skills with a keen sense of pacing, timing, and narrative structure
• Deep awareness of current internet culture, memes, and viral video trends
• Deep understanding of the rules, terminology, notation, and culture of chess
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Prior professional experience editing content for chess, esports, or traditional sports
