What you will do

• Define and evolve the overall QA strategy, including tool selection, methodologies, and KPIs.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, conducting performance reviews and fostering growth.
• Architect scalable automated testing frameworks and oversee their integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to identify risks and set quality benchmarks.
• Implement the testing pyramid and a Shift-Left approach throughout the SDLC.
• Act as the final gatekeeper for releases, providing data-driven go/no-go recommendations.

Requirements

• Must be based in Brazil.
• 7+ years of total experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or managerial role.
• Proven expertise in designing automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Deep understanding of the testing pyramid, including unit, integration, API, and UI testing.
• Advanced English proficiency (fluent verbal and written communication).

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab) and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
• Familiarity with non-functional testing tools like JMeter, Locust, or OWASP ZAP.
• Advanced SQL skills for data validation and back-end testing.
• Experience coaching teams on Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement.
