QA Test Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Author and maintain E2E automated tests using Playwright and Maestro for critical flows like checkout, payments, and gift card redemption.
• Build regression, smoke, and sanity test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for every staging deployment.
• Work with internal MCP tooling and Qase for API-driven test management.
• Fix flaky tests, improve stability, and execution speed.
• Collaborate with developers to automate new features and contribute to test planning and risk assessments.
• Report on test results, coverage gaps, and automation health.

Requirements

• 2-4 years writing and maintaining E2E automated tests, with a dev background applying coding skills.
• Experience with modern frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium; mobile automation interest (Maestro, Appium).
• Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript, backend/infra dev, API testing, and CI/CD.
• Using AI tools (Claude, Cursor) for test writing/debugging.
• Solid understanding of test workflows, suites, and reporting.
• Self-driven mindset for small remote team; timezone overlap with EU and LATAM.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spur, Maestro, Qase, or TestRail.
• Interest in Bitcoin/crypto or testing payments/fintech/e-commerce.
