What you will do
- Lead the full lifecycle of predictive modelling projects from scoping and planning to validation and ongoing ownership.
- Ensure all data science solutions meet the highest standards of governance and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the primary owner of deployed models, providing continuous updates, insights, and performance improvements.
- Contribute to the development of gold-standard technical data science capabilities.
- Coach and develop a team of data scientists and quantitative specialists to foster a high-performing culture.
Requirements
- Degree in a highly analytical field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Quantitative Finance.
- Demonstrated experience applying data science to product optimization, personalization, fraud, or business optimization.
- Proven track record of end-to-end ownership of data science delivery.
- Strong hands-on background as a data scientist or modeler with deep technical expertise.
- Experience leading and developing teams of quantitative specialists.
- Must be based in or able to work in London (Hybrid).
Nice to have
- Experience with Agentic AI tools and practices (e.g., Claude Code, Kiro, Codex).
- Knowledge of advanced techniques like deep learning or numerical optimization.
- Experience coordinating complex delivery in collaboration with MLOps teams.
- History of championing data science in emerging business areas.
