Location: Hybrid – Cardiff, UK (Strong preference for 2 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Analyze data assets to propose new strategic products and services for the insurance market.
• Build functional prototypes and data products from scratch using Python and Data Science.
• Act as an internal consultant for the B2B arm to help partners navigate complex pricing dynamics.
• Engage with external partners to understand data needs and present technical findings.
• Identify commercial opportunities within datasets to drive growth for the company and its insurance partners.

Requirements

• Active experience working within a pricing team at an insurance company.
• Deep understanding of insurance-specific data needs.
• Proficiency in Python and Data Science for building end-to-end prototypes.
• Specialized experience in the motor insurance industry.
• Commercial awareness of how brokers, reinsurers, and other insurance-adjacent companies consume data.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Cardiff, UK.
