What you will do

• Drive end-to-end production of system cards, owning timelines, contributor lists, and definition of done for each launch.
• Coordinate contributions from dozens of researchers across Alignment, Safeguards, Frontier Red Team, and capabilities teams.
• Edit and write technical content, turning raw research notes and plots into clear, scientific, non-marketing prose.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across system cards, risk reports, and Responsible Scaling Policy updates.
• Develop and maintain templates, style guides, and reusable scaffolds to improve the launch process.
• Support research leadership with internal summaries, release notes, and critical documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong project management and execution skills, capable of tracking numerous open threads during compressed launch periods.
• Excellent technical writing skills to make jargon-heavy material readable by smart non-specialists.
• Conceptual knowledge of LLMs, including familiarity with pretraining, RLHF, context windows, evals, and red-teaming.
• Data communication literacy to optimize the clarity and accuracy of charts and tables.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI safety, AI policy, alignment research, or the RSP landscape.
• Background in science communication, research publishing, or technical journalism.
• Track record of shipping long-form technical documents like whitepapers or regulatory filings.
• Experience with safety, risk, or compliance documentation (e.g., security disclosures).
• Light scripting or tooling ability to automate formatting checks or manage data.
