What you will do
- Manage day-to-day operations, workplans, and project timelines for the Taxonomy and Transition Planning Council to ensure timely delivery of its mandate.
- Lead the Governance and Nominating Committee by drafting processes and policies and maintaining official records.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Council and external stakeholders from the financial sector, academia, think tanks, and regulators.
- Coordinate public consultation projects, including identifying stakeholders, defining objectives, and organizing webinars.
- Draft and distribute key messages and media briefs to align communications with strategic objectives.
- Plan and manage high-level conferences, events, and roundtables involving Council members.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proven ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle highly sensitive information with discretion.
- Commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Governance.
- Knowledge of the Canadian sustainable finance ecosystem, including policies, regulations, and standards.
- Experience working directly with executive leaders and Board members.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
