TL;DR

Salary: $6,747.50 - $9,701.42 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Manage day-to-day operations, workplans, and project timelines for the Taxonomy and Transition Planning Council to ensure timely delivery of its mandate.
  • Lead the Governance and Nominating Committee by drafting processes and policies and maintaining official records.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Council and external stakeholders from the financial sector, academia, think tanks, and regulators.
  • Coordinate public consultation projects, including identifying stakeholders, defining objectives, and organizing webinars.
  • Draft and distribute key messages and media briefs to align communications with strategic objectives.
  • Plan and manage high-level conferences, events, and roundtables involving Council members.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proven ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle highly sensitive information with discretion.
  • Commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Governance.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian sustainable finance ecosystem, including policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Experience working directly with executive leaders and Board members.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
