What you will do

  • Create high-quality, on-brand content focusing on short-form videos such as Reels and TikToks.
  • Conceptualize and execute trend-driven content using creative hooks and relevant audio to capture attention.
  • Develop and manage a dynamic content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to ensure consistency.
  • Lead community engagement by responding to comments and messages in a brand-aligned manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to suggest and implement new strategies to improve reach and social performance.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance to provide actionable improvement recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing and growing social media accounts.
  • Proven track record in creating high-performing short-form video content.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative, trend-relevant content that avoids heavy reliance on templates.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools including CapCut, Adobe Suite, and Canva.
  • Deep understanding of current social media trends, viral formats, and platform algorithms.
  • Availability to work flexible hours within the Queensland, Australia timezone.

Nice to have

  • Experience creating content for consumer-facing or fast-paced brands.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and performance optimization.
  • Experience with paid social advertising.
  • Familiarity with management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
