TaxDome is building the #1 practice management platform for accounting firms in the US and globally. We are a 400+ fully remote team across 40+ countries, serving tens of thousands of businesses worldwide.
We’re looking for a staff-level AI-First Product Engineer — someone who doesn’t just code, but takes full ownership of a domain, builds AI-powered product experiences end-to-end, and uses AI as a real part of everyday development.
🔎 We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a strong software engineering background
• Thinks like a product owner, not just an executor
• Works autonomously and takes real ownership
• Has hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, AI integrations, agentic workflows, and automation
• Uses tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc. in daily work
• Can ship production-grade AI features, not just prototypes
• Has strong English communication skills
• Brings startup / builder energy — side projects or founder experience are a big plus
📌 In this role, you will:
• Own a domain end-to-end
• Build and ship AI-powered product functionality
• Move quickly from idea to production
• Use AI across coding, testing, debugging, and technical design
• Help define practical patterns for integrating LLMs into production systems
